Events Sales Administrator

Salary – Circa £26,000 per annum, depending on experience

Wormsley Estate is a beautiful private estate set in the rolling countryside of the Chilterns in Buckinghamshire. It is a stunning venue for exclusive events, celebrations, and functions. The Estate also has “one of the most beautiful Cricket grounds in England” and hosts a range of Cricket games and events each year. Wormsley Estate is also home to Garsington Opera, a summer opera event based in the 600-seat opera pavilion located within the Deer Park with breathtaking views across the landscape.

About the role of Events Sales Administrator at Wormsley Estate

This is a new and exciting opportunity to become part of the Wormsley team. Working with a wide range of charities, companies and individuals, this role will support them in hosting fun, cultured and impeccably delivered events. The role will contribute to the growth of the events portfolio and will provide assistance to the Events, Marketing and Sales teams to raise awareness of all the Estate has to offer. Key to the role is ensuring all event enquiries receive a friendly and swift response, important information is captured and agreed actions are undertaken, whilst always ensuring an excellent level of customer service.

Your Responsibilities at Wormsley Estate

  • Provide sales admin support for events, capturing and responding to enquiries and leads and organise site visits.
  • Manage the Booked Event Management document for all events and communicate event scheduling with the wider team.
  • Develop and update Event Information Sheets with event details and to make sure event schedules are up to date.
  • Prepare venues and attend client meetings.
  • Capture images and filmed content during events for the social media campaign and contribute to the social media content.
  • Prepare contracts for sign off and administer commission agreements, checking and organising billing of commissions.

Role requirements and skills

  • Be proficient in Word, Excel, Google docs and have a sound working knowledge of PowerPoint.
  • Have strong administration and organisational skills with a keen eye for detail.
  • Be adaptable, flexible, enthusiastic, energetic, conscientious, and trustworthy.
  • Possess excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Be keen to learn new skills and interested in learning about life on a private country estate.
  • Have excellent IT skills and ideally a good knowledge of social media /marketing platforms.
