We’re delighted to announce our Wormsley Cricket fixtures, and other notable matches, for the 2021 season. A season which will hopefully see cricket returning to a degree of normality, particularly as the summer progresses and the lockdown restrictions ease.

Key highlights include our President’s Day on Sunday 1st August, when the Sir Paul Getty Men’s XI will welcome the MCC, and the PCA Festival of Cricket on Friday 30th July, when some of the legends of the game will create a day of cricketing celebration.

We have fourteen fixtures featuring the Sir Paul Getty XI, including three Women’s games towards the end of June against UKAFCA Women, MCC Ladies and the Army. The Men’s side is delighted to welcome back I Zingari, the Arabs and Eton Ramblers for their traditional games, and also to welcome the London New Zealand Cricket Club in its 70th year anniversary. Having been guests at Arundel last year, we’re looking forward to hosting the Sussex Martlets at Wormsley for the return fixture at the beginning of May. We have two away fixtures this year, which will see the Men’s XI venturing down to Sussex to play the Duke of Norfolk’s XI at Arundel in July before ending the season with another away fixture, as guests of the Hurlingham Club in September.

We’re also delighted to once again hold a Wormsley Cricket Open Day on Sunday 29th August, when Ibstone CC and Stokenchurch CC will help us celebrate a day of fun for the family.

From a broader cricketing perspective, we’re pleased to be hosting the Women’s Varsity Match in June and also, after an understandable break last year, to welcome back the National Counties (renamed Minor Counties) 50-over Final at the beginning of September. We also have the pleasure of hosting three Oxfordshire Cricket games this year – a season curtain raiser against Bucks CCC in April, the over-50s squad against Surrey CCC in May and finally their T20 Finals Day in September.

In addition to the above, we have a broad range of Charity, Corporate and Private games which make for a lovely balance of Cricket throughout the season.
