The Boundary Room

Designed by Robin Snell

The Boundary Room, designed by Robin Snell and first opened in 2016, sits alongside the Cricket Pavilion. Its glass frontage gives a wonderfully unimpeded view of the Cricket Ground, from the statue of the Unknown Cricketer (by Gerald Laing) to the valley and woodlands beyond.

A hospitality venue

On match days, the Boundary Room provides hospitality for the players, umpires and invited guests, whilst during the Garsington Opera season it serves as the main restaurant marquee, catering for 300 guests from its on-site kitchen during intervals.

Hugely versatile space

It is a hugely versatile space, suitable for corporate events, private parties and gatherings in a variety of settings, be it formal dining & banqueting (300 banquet-style), theatre-style conferences and meetings (400 audience-style), or informal gatherings and drinks receptions (500 standing).
